- Payment confirmation — we do not see or store your full card number

- Whatever you choose to tell us, and your email address

We do not use your personal information for anything else without asking you first.
Our lawful basis
We process your information because:
- It is necessary to carry out the contract you entered into when you placed an order
- We have a legal obligation — tax and record-keeping

- We have a legitimate interest in running and improving the store

- Shopify, which hosts the store and processes orders
- BobGo, to deliver to you
- BobPay, to take payment
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to
We do not sell your personal information. We never have and never will.
Cross-border transfers: some of these providers store data outside South Africa. POPIA permits this where the receiving country has comparable protection or the provider is contractually bound to equivalent standards.
How long we keep it
- Order records: 7 years, to meet tax and accounting requirements
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe
- Support enquiries: 1 year
- Website analytics: 14 months
Your rights under POPIA
You may:
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy
- Correct or delete information that is wrong, misleading, or no longer needed
- Object to processing, on reasonable grounds
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
- Complain to the Information Regulator

Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but the store may not work properly without the essential ones.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information. Payment processing happens on encrypted connections handled by our payment provider — card details do not reach us.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, POPIA requires us to notify both you and the Information Regulator.
Children
The store is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
